The ten-day Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) of 19 UP Girls Battalion NCC of NCC Group Lucknow began at the No. 2 Military Training Battalion of Army Medical Corps Centre & College in Lucknow Cantonment on 29 July 2025. Biometric registration and documentation of the cadets took place on the first day of the camp.

The camp was formally inaugurated by the Commanding Officer of 19 UP Girls Battalion NCC and Commandant of the camp, Colonel (Dr) Dinesh Kumar Pathak, with his inaugural address. In his address, Colonel Pathak welcomed about 600 NCC cadets participating in the camp and the Associate NCC Officers from their schools and colleges, Caretaker Officers and Army PI staff associated with the training. He gave detailed information on the training plan, camp related instructions and essential issues related to their food and accommodation during this camp. Colonel (Dr) Dinesh Kumar Pathak, while mentioning the various benefits that the NCC cadets would get from the camp, called upon the NCC cadets to contribute with maximum zeal and enthusiasm during this training camp.

It is noteworthy that in this camp, NCC cadets will be given military training in subjects like firing weapon training, drill, combat skills, map reading and radio telephony by the PI staff. The cadets will be given information on subjects like personality development, military history, general knowledge, leadership training, health and hygiene and disaster management by ANO and CTO of schools and colleges. During this camp, various sports competitions will also be organised for the all-round development of the cadets.
